What to Expect During Your Women and Wealth Introductory Meeting
What happens during an introductory meeting?
The introductory meeting is simply a conversation with Kelsey Conklin, CFP®, who leads our Women & Wealth services. You’ll talk about what’s going on in your financial life and any questions you have.
Some women are planning ahead, while others are navigating transitions like divorce, widowhood, or retirement.
It’s a chance to talk things through and see if working together is a good fit.
Does it cost anything to have an introductory meeting?
No—the meeting is complimentary.
It’s just a conversation to understand your situation and see whether working together makes sense. We’ll walk through how our services work, including how we’re paid, during the meeting, so you understand everything before deciding whether to move forward.
Do I need to prepare or bring anything?
No preparation is required.
If you have statements or specific questions, you’re welcome to bring them—but many women come in with nothing at all, and that’s perfectly okay.
What if I don’t know where to start or feel overwhelmed?
That’s very common.
Many women come into their first meeting unsure of what to ask or where things stand. Kelsey will walk through your situation and answer any questions you have.
Is this meeting only for women going through major life changes?
Not at all.
While many women reach out during transitions like divorce, widowhood, or retirement, others are looking for guidance as they plan ahead, invest, or make decisions about their finances.
Can I meet virtually instead of in person?
Yes. You can meet in person, virtually, or by phone—whatever works best for you.
Do I need to make any decisions right away?
No—there’s no pressure to make any decisions during the meeting.
Afterward, you can take your time to think things over. If you decide to move forward, we’ll walk you through the next steps. If not, that’s completely fine— you’ll still come away with a better sense of where things stand.
