I founded Capital Wealth Management in 2001 after working at a national brokerage firm. Recognizing the need for a more proactive and personalized approach to financial management, I established CWM to provide customized strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs. As CEO and Principal (RJFS), I focus on leadership, strategy, and guiding our clients through complex financial landscapes.
I believe that true financial success is not just about building wealth but also about maintaining good health so that you can enjoy your retirement. This philosophy stems from both my personal experience as a financial planner and as a fourth-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate. I aim to help clients achieve their financial objectives while inspiring them to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives. Over the years, I’ve also developed a strong commitment to special needs financial planning—driven by my personal and professional experience helping families navigate the unique challenges of long-term care, government benefits, and financial protection for loved ones with disabilities.

Certifications & Licenses

Special Needs Financial Planning
My passion for special needs financial planning is deeply personal. I’ve spent my career helping families prepare for the future of their loved ones with disabilities—and I’ve lived the experience myself. My sister Amy was born with an unbalanced chromosomal translocation that caused lifelong physical and cognitive disabilities. Growing up helping care for her gave me a firsthand understanding of the emotional and logistical challenges families face.
As a CFP® professional with over 30 years of experience, I work closely with clients and their attorneys to create plans that preserve eligibility for government benefits, fund long-term care, and put the right people and protections in place for the future. Whether coordinating a Special Needs Trust, establishing an ABLE account, or choosing a trustee, my team and I aim to bring clarity, structure, and experienced guidance to each family’s unique planning needs.
Health, Wealth, and Longevity
My passion for health and wellness goes beyond financial planning. As a fourth-degree black belt in Shotokan Karate, I have been practicing for over 35 years, studying primarily under the renowned Sensei Masataka Mori. I have also attended summer camps led by Sensei Hidetaka Nishiyama and Sensei Keinosuke Enoeda. The discipline, resilience, and focus I have developed through martial arts deeply influence my approach to financial planning.
